Setup
Stand next to a cable column with one hand holding it for support, strap around ankle or just above knee. Feet close together with the toe of the leg with the strap touching the heel of the stance leg. Engage your core
Movement
Kick leg straight out to the side no more than 45 degrees keeping your foot facing straight ahead, return to start
Tip
Do not hike your hip on the leg that is performing the motion.
DO not side bend your trunk toward the column during the kicking motion
Do not let your kicking leg travel in front of your stance leg as you are kicking
